So I guess we need also topics in English, since I heard a little rumour there's some international interest in this forum.  This thread is dedicated to the great metal-band Artch, in which Eirikur Hauksson (or Eric Hawk if you like) is the singer.
I personally listen to a lot of metal, and when I first heard Artch, my mind was totally blown away. Eirikur sounds like Dio and Bruce Dickinson at the same time! "Another Return", as their first album was titled, is a true metal classic.
My personal favourite must be Where I Go. I never thought there could be a ballad which gives me more shivers than Still Loving You (by Scorpions), but that song proved it me wrong. It's so beautiful! <3
I'd give anything to see this band live even for one time in my life!  |

The only reason why I know about Artch is because Myrskykatti adores Eirkķr. And yes Manda I agree with you about the Bruce Dickinson spirit. He has an amazing voice to bad I just have five songs from Artch.

Well you can find Artch cds in the internet, I bought mine from eBay about two weeks ago. They are not even that expensive, cheaper than cds normally are in local stores.
You should really get at least Another Return, it's an amazing album!
They have also released a dvd, and there's a rumour that if a certain number of dvds are bought Artch might go touring again...so go buy that dvd!  |
