| I took a long break from Cheater's Choice to play 3.5 years of WoW and am now back to cheater's choice. The thing is, I seem to recall that there was a recipe to turn any item into the unique version of it when I played before and now I cannot recall what the recipe was. Can anyone throw me a bone here? Maybe I was playing an older version that had it and this new one, #5, does not? I tried several things, like the item+(1,2,3&4) identify scrolls, item+portal scrolls, item+gems, item+runes, etc. and I still haven't been able to figure it out again. I even did something crazy, like read the notes, but there wasn't anything about it in there. |

I'm getting a error message when i try to play with this mod. The game starts fine and i get the ccm5 start screen, but when i create or load a character i get a Diablo II error message saying:
Assertion failure
Location: D2CMP\SRC\CelCmp.cpp, line #1521
Expression: lpParent
Anyone know what this means??
The game works fine unmodded.... |

Activate the mod using CCM5_SETUP in your dII folder |

The error means plugys dc6 files arent being loaded and if you downloaded from the first post in this topic those files are in the mpq.
Are you using the shortcut the installer created |

| I am also getting an error on loading the game. The door begins to open and then it says "Unable to enter game, bad header". |

| Make sure you installed 1.10 patch before you installed the mod |

| Hey Uffe, I think I just found a glitch on CC5 in the inventory. I imbedded runewords into all pieces of Trang oul's necromancer set and when I went to save it it came up with an error that says could not load game, bad inventory. Are runewords not supposed to work on set items? All the runewords worked except for the armor piece. No matter what runeword I imbedded, it did not add the abilities but it did show the runeword at the top of the armor piece. Just thought you might care to know. |

| The exact error was "Unable to enter game, bad inventory data". |

| Hey uffe, I noticed something. I was perusing the mod making tools section and was looking specifically at the plug-y, survival kit. Inside, it says that ladder runewords were implemented. However, whenever I try to use a ladder runeword in single player, it doesn't work, no matter which ladder runeword I use. Am I doing something wrong or do they just really not work? Thanks a bunch in advance. |

| Got the mod working. Seen a post suggesting that the mod could be used with collectors backpack but now I can`t find the post saying how to do this. Also, the one thing about the mod that bugs me is the warrior image in the inventory display that is on top of the grid and hides the items in the inventory. Is there any way to remove that image or with what tool would I remove that and what file is it? |

Check ccms readme and history files instead, new plugy versions are 4-5 years younger than this mod

The backpack should only be used with mods where items only have a few stats, this is due to the savefile 8kb limit. In ccm there are loads of items with loads of stats so they are not compatible

The image is not a layer but painted in to the grid image so it doesnt overlap the items.

Nope besides I do not allow further modifying of my mods |
