| I had mods for version 1.09 but I deleted all of them. I haven't used them in a while. "C:\Program Files\Diablo II" is the folder that they are in. And yes I get to see the start up screen which says hard or easy or medium. |

You forgot one question
| Quote: | | -Are you running the game from disc or are you using some form of nocd loader |
Thats the last thing i can think of. If anyone has had similar problems and solved them then please share as i am rusty after almost 2 years without having d2 installed |

Play TC/IP games instead and make sure all your friends also have the mod installed. I dont recomend playing on open battlenet as characters are not compatible |

Like i said dont play on open bnet, play single player or tc/ip games.
To know if the mod is installed correctly well first you will se the mods game selection screen instead of the original. And in easy difficulty just check your skills as all characters have a teleport skill. |

 |
|
Hey, I got a question: how can I mule items from one char to another? Both chars created with the drop mod. Because it's very frustrating to find a char specific item wich doesnt fit with the char you're playing and you can't plan of making a new one using that item because you can't transfer it! Btw, I got Windows Vista and your mod works perfectly. I just hope there is a way to mule |

You need to set your firewall to allow the connection for d2. Thats my guess

Character editors usually cant handle mod characters due to changed stats so i recommend muling using the dll above that allows you to run 2 games |

On the subject of getting errors when trying to run the mod, I am getting a failed to enter error when trying to bring in my existing characters. I have not loaded any other mods, I am running from CD and I haven't installed any no cd patch.
The error I get when trying to bring in my original chars says something about stats. I can create a character new and the mod works great, I just can't get my existing characters into a game using the mod. |

Tried again to get exact text, it says bad character stats data when I try and bring in one of my existing characters.
BTW, I do have 1.11 bnet patch installed, and everything is installed in the default paths for D2 and LOD with the mod pasted as instructed in the root directory of D2. |

| uffe wrote: | volf's 1.11 drop mod version 1.0.0
Introduction
if you want a drop mod in order to have an unfair advantage over other players in multiplayer games then stop reading, to prevent abuse of this mod characters will not be compatible with normal 1.11 patch characters.
